Type S nonreversing magnetic contactors are used to switch heating loads, capacitors, transformers, and electric motors where overload protection is provided separately. This oversized enclosure is for 8502S and 8536S size 00, 0 and 1 devices and is NEMA 1 rated. This sheet steel enclosure is painted grey. Knockouts in the cover of this enclosure provide for field addition of Class 9999 rectangular cover mounted control units. This enclosure comes standard with a 9999SF4 fuse block. Enclosure requires a separate reset closing plate, 9999SG2, when used for 8502S contactors to replace the reset mechanism. A 9991S1 adapter bracket is required for mounting a 9070T100 or 9070T150 transformer in this enclosure. Enclosure is 15.88 inches tall, 6.34 inches wide and 5.19 inches deep. This enclosure is UL Listed and CSA certified."
