- "Square D individual meter socket is a single phase, ringless meter socket device for single family residential construction. This socket underground feed has provisions to feed a downstream main lug load center, a main breaker load center, or an individually enclsoed service disconnect. This solid top hub type socket has 8 jaws no bypass, and a current rating of 20A. This unit has a rated operational voltage of 600 VAC and a short circuit current rating of 10,000 RMS symmetrical amperes. It also has a NEMA type 3R enclosure that is supplied with a bonded neutral, and hub opening in top endwall. This hub opening will require the use of a bolt on hub or closing plate. Unit is UL listed. This meter socket has a 20 A rating. This unit can be for a feed from an underground service. This unit has a NEMA 3R surface mounting enclosure. The lugs will accept 14 AWG to 2/0 AWG copper or aluminum wire. This individual meter socket is UL Listed."
